The low voltage disconnect or LVD works like an automated light switch.
When the power is above 12.2VDC the solid state relay remains closed, when the voltage drops below 11.9VDC the relay opens, disconnecting the power; making the LVD perfect for autonomous or install and forget installations.
Notes: Available in 12/24VDC/custom configurations. If you are interested in integrating a photocell within the same package take a look at our SSLD series. The LVD is not for use with flourescents!
