Much like our DIY series, the flex strip is designed for rapid prototyping and LED experimentation.

Note: when using surface mount LEDs and when thermally clad to aluminum, the flex strip becomes rigid.
We advise against exceeding lengths of 18 inches due to flexibility, which can lead to LED fracture/failure.
It is recommended that long length are broken into shorter segments which are easier to ship and install.
